Wayne County Homemaker Recipe – Skillet Peanut Butter Fudge by Marilyn Rush

SKILLET PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE

2 c. sugar

3 T. butter

1 c. evaporated milk

1 c. miniature marshmallows

1 (12 oz.) jar chunky style peanut butter

1 tsp. vanilla

In an electric skillet combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk.  Set control at 280 degrees.  Bring mixture to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.  Turn off heat.  Add marshmallows, peanut butter, and vanilla.  Stir until the mixture is melted and blended.  Pour into a buttered 8-inch square pan.  Let set until firm.  Yields 2 pounds.
