Wayne County Homemaker Recipe – Stuffed Pepper Cups by Sue Ayerst

STUFFED PEPPER CUPS

6 med. green peppers, cut in half, discard seeds, boil 5 minutes

1 lb. ground beef

1/3 c. onion, chopped

2 T. Worcestershire sauce

2 c. stewed tomatoes or 1 can

1 c. steamed rice, or more

Basil, oregano, garlic powder, to your taste

1 c. sharp cheese, shredded

Mix all ingredients, except cheese.  Put mixture into green pepper cups, place in a 9 x 13 glass dish, top with drizzles of ketchup, then top with cheese.  Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
