According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron, a continued investigation into the illegal sales of narcotics in Wayne County has resulted in a Dayton, Tn. man being arrested.
This case started back on November 18, 2021, when Deputy Derek Dennis charged and arrested a mother and son on drug trafficking and related charges after executing a search warrant at their residence. Deputy Dennis’ continued investigation led him to obtain a Wayne County District Court Complaint Warrant of Arrest for the Timothy L. Collins of Dayton, Tn. on multiple charges including drug trafficking. On December 19, 2021, Collins was arrested in Bartow County Georgia by local authorities there on the Wayne County Complaint Warrant of Arrest and was lodged in the Bartow County Detention Center. On December 28, 2021, Deputies Dennis, and Deputy Valis Smedley traveled to Georgia and returned Collins to Wayne County after Colins waived his extradition from Georgia.
Once back in Wayne County Deputy Smedley served and arrested Collins on the Complaint Warrant on the charges of trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (greater than 2 grams of methamphetamine), trafficking in a controlled substance-2nd degree (less than 20 dugs unspecified), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia and engaging in organized crime.
Collins was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.

Gloria Bolen of Monticello, Ky. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine).
Clifford R. McGuire of Monticello, Ky. was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Complaint Warrant of Arrest for assault-4th degree.
Jason K. Fulton was served with a Wayne County District Court Criminal Summons for the charge of burglary-2nd degree.
Bolen and McGuire were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center. Fulton was given a court date to appear.
