The kickoff to the Christmas Season is coming up this evening in Downtown Monticello. The lighting of the town tree is planned for 6 pm and will feature a performance by the Waynetonians. Also, Christmas Tree Alley will open in the Downtown Farmers Market area.
The Annual Christmas parade is scheduled for this Friday at 6 pm.
